Increase in conflict and blood shed around the world has led me recently to sculpt an enormous head that is obsessed with battle. The determination of calls for battle does not allow the recognition of any need, other than of going to war. The head is frontal and direct, and the open mouth cries out for killing. It is hard to choose which is more menacing: the twisted mouth, or the narrowing holes for eyes.
